Default Marlin 795

Just picked up one of these for $90.....didn't need it, didn't want it, don't have safe-room for it, and have way too many .22LR's as it is but just couldn't pass it up. It'll be a nice addition to the grandkids gun collection that stays here. Besides, it may help us burn off a little of the 4k rounds we're sitting on....she DID say we needed to start thinking about spring cleaning...."only trying to do my part honey!"

You have in my humble opinion spent $90.00 in a very wise way. These are good accurate rifles. I liked mine so much I decided to put a wood stock on it I got from from Numrich.

My son likes his so well it's about all he'll shoot, even though he has a Ruger 10/22 and Savage MK II-BTV...

Yes, I would say it's $90.00 very well spent!

I like that stock! When I purchased it I was wondering if any "real" stocks were offered.....thank you for the answer my friend! Nice stash of mags too.

You are welcome.

I like the feel of a wood stock, though I must admit that I do have some rifles with synthetic stock's. I figured I better get the magazines when I could. They come in handy when shooting timed four position matches.

I put a scope on mine, at 35 yards I can tear up nickles all day long with brick ammo. I love it for what I paid and what I want to do with it. You've got $90 well spent.

I am considering this rifle, I Like the wood stock, but I am not picky either. Glad to hear good things about it, but I guess it is going to come down to feel and comfort with holding it and not just price.
