Default Marlin 783

I found this Marlin at a Court Day festival in Ky. I love going to these because I always find something neat to bring home with me. I'm thinking about refinishing the wood but have not made any set in stone decisions just yet. She shoots great putting five rounds in 2" at 125 yards. It was a little windy this afternoon so it might do better later but I'll be changing the glass first. All in all a good 200.00 spent I think anyway.

VERY good buy there!! I have a older Marlin .22 mag that ain't for sale for any price. Those old Marlins just can't be worn out.

Thanks!
I hadn't seen one like this in a some time. I'm pretty happy with the find..The Court Day thing in Mt. Sterling and Preston is a gun shoppers paradise. I a;ways come out of there with something interesting.
