i looked at that AX50 before and its not scaled to size. its about 60% in size. also the plastic is extremely cheap

i have the XM8 and will be putting a 10/22 inside. plastic is descent

the SR1 bullpup also looks like its not scaled to size and probably made of cheap plastic. ill have to see this one in person or look for reviews before i attempt to do it

ohhhh sorry im using the action/barrel for this conversion. i got it for like $70-80 on gunbroker.com

Trigger linkages & bedding 'em in tend to be the big problems for most folks...in my experience.

Noticed in the vid of your Tavor build that the tube mag could use some polishing...
if you get it to a nice brassy shine it'll slide in & out a bit smoother...
("Brasso" brass polish from any Navy base works wonders)

sorry i meant cutting or dremeling out the plastic is easy. should be easy for a beginner if theyre committed to do it.

yea this was my first trigger linkage job and difficulty was a 10 out of 10. there were plenty of times where i didnt want to do the conversion because it was intimidating to work on the trigger linkage.

I truly get a kick out of modding Marlins, but since the twins came along fundage for Projects went POOF....lol
Hopefully I can get back at it one day...I've still got a Marlin 99-G on my desk that I've gotta Gunkote...
and a High Standard "B" that's getting hand-polished until all the scratches are gone...I'm still debating what next for that...
Ceracoat, Gunkote, or Plating...heck of a choice there...

remember i got these used.

starting from the top to bottom
FS2000 = $40 (thick plastic)
L85 = $60 (full metal)
TAR21 = $100 (thick plastic)
AUG = $80 (decent plastic/full metal quad rail)
PS90 = $30 (cheap plastic)
