Making the most out of that bullet

When it comes to hunting i know that shot placement is key, but do y'all think I can go coyote hunting with my 10/22, and what else can I kill???

Great for small game. Seems underpowered for predators.

going after coyotes, i think the 22 Mag would be a better choice. JMO.

I recon a good head shot would do a coyote in. Even a coyote deserves a humane death.

I've killed a lot of coyotes with a .22. Short range with a rifle while they were in one of my traps, but they went down with one shot. You need a head shot with a .22 or you may not get a kill. .22mag I think would be about the same, not enough kinetic energy with that small round and the speed it travels at.

Depends on how good you are at getting them to come in close.

I scope those yotes at 300+ yards. Don't know where you live,

but down here, they don't like to stick their noses out of the

tall brush...

22LR? I guess it might work under the right conditions.

What was your plan to call them in close?

Yes U can. Practice & practice, know the capabilities of that cartridge. If you can get close enough 75 yards or less,I know that that cartridge will work. Shot placement is a must.:) Cliff
