You will not be disappointed. It's a great gun and very accurate. Make sure yours has the blue spring in the bolt. I heard the red springs had problems. I ran about 2000 rounds thru mine and had two jams. Here is the first 25 rounds I shot at from 25 yds open sites. Pretty accurate.

The M&P15-22 is the very best of the tactical rimfires, the controls are just like a centerfire AR and the field stripping for cleaning is easy. I've owned the Colt/Umarex M4 (junk) and the Sig 522 ( a decent rifle) but prefer the M&P hands down. You'll be very happy with yours.
