Default looking for a 22 rifle 552, gsg-5, etc...

Hi im looking for a new rifle that i will be using mainly around the house since every other gun i own is large caliber and extremely loud for my neighbor about 300 yards away.
id like something that is fairly accurate at 100+ yards, no more than 150. most my shooting will be between like 20-100 yards.
ive been looking at the sig 552, and the gsg-5. ive heard great things about the 552. it seems like an extremely good deal. and from what ive heard its very accurate.
anyone have any other recommendations? are there any 22 mag rifles out there that would be a good choice? it seems like 22 mag would be perfect for what i want. though 22lr would be nice just because its so dang cheap.
any help would be great!

You need to define what "accurate" means to you. IMHO, 22 LR sort of maxes out at 100 yards- I am speaking of a dime sized 5 shot group with the right rifle and ammo. I have recently acquired a couple of rifles in .17 HMR, and while the ammo is more expensive than .22LR (about $13/50 rounds) the accuracy is superb. Noise is about that of a .22 Mag. Would be devestating on prairie dogs at 100-200 yds. If you want a .22 autoloader, go with the Ruger 10-22, altho I am enamored of older Mossberg .22s.

im not looking for anything with outstanding accuracy, im not expecting to get dime sized groups at 100 yards. if i could hit rabbit sized targets at 50-100 yards id be happy. im looking at tactical 22's mainly for the fun factor. if i had to get two different 22's one for fun and one for targets i would.
id definitely be interested in something that shoots 22 mag, 17 HMR or similar as a second gun.

Unless your heart is set on a tactical style 22 rifle I'd look at the Ruger 10-22 or a nice bolt action. I believe the Sig to be a good choice but personally I'd shy away from the Walthers, but that's just me.
