I just ordered a rifle case for my new rifle. What until you all see it. I'll post a picture of it when I get it. You're gonna love it!!

A safety officer at the range recommended I get a mat to protect the paint job. It's glossy and it seems like it might scratch easily. Should I just use a (pink) towel or should I look into a rubber mat sort of thing. Any suggestions or ideas?

A thick towel would be ok for a range bench cushion/mat.

Thanks. If this rifle gets scratched up I'll be so sad. But it's not going to stop me from shooting the heck out of it.

get one of those small carpet type mats from a dollar general or something like that they are about 24X36" at most , some smaller , some larger and you can roll it up and take it with you
