Considering .17HMR is 12.00 to 16.00 a box depending where you go, not that bad. The MSRP I saw was 25.00 on WSM. On line I see it for $15.00. 17gr .17HMR is 9.94 and 30gr .22WMR is 9.53. Just grabbed 3 boxes of .17 and 2 .22. With shipping it is less then 12.00 a box. Cheaper then local and got the brands I like.

The new savage B-mag is due out march or early april. Savage does not think they will be able to keep up with demand. And the rifle is going to be $350. Browning and ruger are also coming out with a rifle for the .17 win super mag.

Which .17 HMR did you get for $9.94/box? I've seen some at Bass Pro for that price but it was the 15 grain stuff that was only around 1800 fps. The 17 grain Hornady V-Max is around 2500 fps and the 20 grain are around 2200 fos I believe. Went looking for .17 HMR ammo and my brother ran up to me all excited that he found them at Bass Pro for under $10/box so I read the fine print on the box and saw why.

Where'd you find this info? I looked on Savage's site, and the closest I came were some guns, "new for 2012", in 17 Hornet. I don't think that's the same thing, right?

The .17 WSM were 20 gr. pills. I hope they save me one of their rifles........
