My 10-22 loves Federal. Not one jam, ever. The factory 10-round magazine was a bit sticky the first few loads though. It just took a heavy smack on the charging handle to seat the round in the chamber. After I'd put 50-60 rounds through each magazine, they all worked fine (I own three of the factory 10-rounders).
I'd read somewhere that the RX-25s can have some burring on the inside of the feed lips. Take it apart and look for any small bumps or casting mould lines in the metal of the lips. Dremel them or sand them slightly, and you should be golden.
I found the Ruger factory sights to be total junk, in my humble opinion. I replaced them with a set of tech Sights (link provided to you earlier). They mimic the battle sights I was used to from firing an M16. My accurracy improved 200% after installing them.
The 10-22 does come with a scope rail from the factory. Never used mine, so I can't give any info on it. It's in a drawer someplace...

Where the hell do you live? I can't see that info on my phone. My parents do foster care, and one of the things those abused and neglected kids love is getting out in the pasture and blasting cans with a .22, and then showing the DHS or child welfare people how well they're doing!

terry You do have a safe for your guns right?

Tech sites are 59.00 or 69.00 depending on the adjustment option you pick. The front site driffs off,and new on slids in and rear screws to the rear screws on the top of the reciever. Cool sites and help with lon ger range shooting.

Oh God here we go lol. I live in Buffalo ny. They r from Minnesota. Regardless I just bit my tongue and stored em somewhere else. They rarely come and they are only here for a week. I have a closet with a lock on it. Including locks on both guns. My girlfriend didn't want me to get a safe yet cuz we r remodeling our floor and the closets aren't finished yet so its "one less thing we have to move". I live in the city...no pastures out here. Her dad lives on the highest point of erie county. Owns several weapons and like 36 acres. Her mom and stepdad are just...strict to say the least and they fear firearms more than respect. Besides the kids def don't have the maturity to go near em.
