winchester and cci are the only two brands i have seen here & there. they both must be really cranking it out.

the ammo drought is getting better...the 22 drought is still alive and well in my area. 22 is the only caliber right now that is truly difficult to find.

but i have had enough 22 scores lately to keep me shooting a few months, so i'm not ACTIVELY seeking 22 right now.

good luck guys! i'm thinking 3 more months without any more panics, and we'll be joking about this (and those that paid like $100 for a brick of 22 will never admit it ).

I had to laugh at this one. $2.99 for 50 .22LR. Shipping to my house was $12.38. They only allow 1 box per customer per day.

They really need to re-visit their qty and limits rules.

Why is .22 so hard to come by these days? Are people just really into plinking?

"panic-style, shelf-clearing" buying tactics (aka hoarding), bulk purchases for price gouging, and an influx of new gun owners.....i think probably the top 3 reasons. of course, some say obama is buying it all up out of spite for his gun control failures....

and i think every gun owner likes plinking? ....especially for a few cents a round!
