I asked to see since I had never seen 22lr that needed a special magazine, CCI 22WMR.
That is 22 magnum. Doesn't need a special magazine, needs a different gun.

I assumed it was when he told me. I just had to see if he was really that ignorant. If Walmart is going to allow people behind that counter, perhaps they should train them better. I would probably have bought some if I hadn't sold my 22 mag last year.

hate to be "one of THOSE GUYS" that brags on their score.......lol!

but i'm gonna anyways...

scored 600 rounds of cci at an out of the way wal mart on a road trip....just dumb luck. add it to my current expendable supply, and i should be good for range time this summer now. i no longer consider myself "22LR desperate!"

feel like i can take it easy and just look casually for a little while, and that is a good feeling!

hopefully a sign things are getting better if I score on ammo!

in this climate, you did very well!

i just got lucky...made the better half go back and get more (3 limit)!

i got both standard mini mag 40 gr (1235 fps), and 36 gr hollowpoints (1260). they were at the (old) normal price of $7 per 100 mini mag.

first time this year i have been able to buy more than 100 rounds. and i haven't seen ANYTHING (at reasonable price) in 3 months. its not a bulk pack, but at this point...i'll gladly take it!

good day! like i said, with this score....i don't feel like i have to get 22 for awhile.

Found 550 boxes at a Walmarket for 22 bucks a box the other day.
Still some FB resellers asking all kinds of crazy money. Lucky me though still has several boxes stashed back. That's what rainy day stashes are for though.

yup, trust me...i keep hearing about these bulk boxes being around lately...of course, i keep hearing about that tooth fairy as well......

not quite sure i believe either.....

i have only seen bulk 22LR boxes on a retail counter ONCE in 2013...at a price of $90...i passed on that with no regrets.

Just saw 500 rnd boxes of CCI at Dick's. They had 7 boxes. I just couldn't bring myself to pay $39.99 a box.

that's an OK price for CCI, which runs more reliably and is more accurate in all my 22's than any bulk ammo. bulk 22, always expect some jams, cci....almost never. its just better ammo imo.

$35ish would be better, but 39 isn't terrible for 500 cci...i would have bought it.
