OK people, here goes nothing. I was given an "old" .22 bolt action rifle. On the barrel its marked AR-10, .22 LR Long Rifle. Made in Japan.
It looks like a Chipmonk single shot. It cocks on the closing of the bolt. yoy can clearly see tool marks on the bolt and action.
Does anyone know of any imported .22 from Japan? Or how I could track down info on this? I can send pix if that would help.
Thanks in advance

If it has letters SAR on it, Shinbisha Air Rifle Co of Japan. Basic youth type 22 LR, there are a few around, but not an everyday item. NO RELATION to Armalite.
