Unless you hold a FFL, you need to mentally include the cost of a transfer fee, and cost of shipping. Yeah, too much.

That's one of the things I find interesting about it. I know they aren't an ffl and they claim you just need an fid. If it has a capacity of 10 rounds as I assume it does I believe you need an ltc. I'm thinking the whole deal is rather illegal. I mean if it's not made before 1900 then an unlicensed pawn shop can't sell it. How can they?

No they cant if its the pawn shop selling it and they dont have a ffl. They do say in the ad you need a dealer for them to ship to but they said it very poorly.
Posted too soon. Its an auctioneer service. They can auction firearms but the transfer has to go through an ffl

I don't see where it says that. ( don't disagree with you often either ) It says you need an fid and have to fill out a Gen transfer paper. The last part is what completely loses me. The paper fa-10 forms are no longer accepted and the efa-10 requires all the license info from both parties involved. I think if they knew what they were doing they would state transfer fees apply or would know how the process works. I have a feeling both they and the buyer may be getting a visit from the atf. BTW their business is setup for payment at pickup. I don't believe they do anything via mail. I'm concerned because I have dealt with the guy many times in the past and he is a great very giving and friendly person who may be in over his head this time.

Lol. I'm not buying it. I think it's already overpriced and I don't trust the entire deal. I did some research on it and I guess it's only a 5 shot magazine but I still doubt he has the license to be selling it. I did see one listed on a gun auction site for around $1600 though.

Not only over priced, but the amount of rust tells me there may be other problems lurking under the surface, specifically in the bore.
