I just cant find sub-sonic .22lr ammo in springfield mo

Bear with me here, I know this is going to be probably a redudant question....

But is subsonic ammo LEGAL in those parts? Because if its not, that might explain the "shortage".

Outside of that, Hhhhhhhhhaaaaaavvvvvvvvveeeeeeee you tried these guys?

what ya need subsonics for??

if your shooting a pistol with barrel length of 4.5" or less standard velocity becomes subsonic. only need i can think of is for a suppressor on a 5 inch+ barrel. some integral suppressed 10/22 barrels bleed off enough gasses to make standard velocity rounds subsonic.

Every Wal-Mart I've been to carries Remington Subsonic. Almost picked some up yesterday, but couldn't get any customer service...left empty handed
