I'd like to give it a shot

Would my LR308-B w/ iron sights be in the stock or modified class?

Dog I don't think a 308 fits in to the RIMFIRE category.

The rules are there it is up to you to be HONEST or not. If you are shooting a modified gun in the stock class you really are not winning anything.

We will keep a running total and at the end of the shooting season we will tally scores for the First FTF Rimfire fun shoot champ. Maybe over all winner will get a free year of supporting membership I dunno.

Great idea. I'm gonna participate. Although I don't think I'll be much competition with my Remington 519 with iron sights.

Sorry tango, but I reread the thread and didn't see the rimfire category? I saw the stock, modified and open classes. Is the rimfire a subcategory of one or is it a separate class?

Maybe I got too much beer on the brain today. But I would like o give this a shot.

Thanks again

Are my old eyes tricking me or do all three classes' shoot the same target?

NOT FLAMING YOU TANGO, JUST IGNORANT.

So to shoot in the stock class w/scope, I will shoot my ‘bone stock’ 43 year old 22lr marlin with its 10$ single power scope (using a sand bag front rest) at a 50yd target set at 25yds with a total of 12 shots, 2 tune-up rds on a separate target and 10 shots on the match target? Right?

I have the entire month to do this? Or is there a specific day?

Boy, I wouldn’t want to be one of those Modified & Open class guys that have only 10 rds to make 20 shots!

This is a rimfire ONLY shoot I didn't specifically say that because it is in the Rimfire section. I apologize for not making this clear.

You can use any rimfire you wish 22lr 17hmr 17hm2 5mm remington ect.....

Cane I change the target for the modified and open class. Yes at First they were all shooting the same target. The open and modified guy must shoot at 50 Yards.

Tango:

I assume from your statement that ANY rimfire is allowed that I can shoot my .22 WMR, even though you don't specifically list that round.

Also, any web site to get a better version of the target? When I download the one you gave a link for, it comes out pixelated, so the lines are messed up. This is going to make it hard to score.

I think there needs to be separate classes for different caliber/cartridge in rimfire. Also iron sight/scope separate classes.
