I shoot one of my 5 .22 cals every chance I get. Although I have been shooting my AR-15 a lot lately.

Me too. A rimfire is a must if you're going to make camping double the fun.

Since the wife gave me the annual range pass. I usually go twice a week and the wife once. The .22 LR are the favorite; however, lately I have been taking the Remington 870, yesterday dropped some 90 rounds of which: 5 Managed slugs, 10 rifle slugs (love it) and 75 rounds (Nothing remained of the target area) of 7 1/4, 8 and 6 shot rounds. The wife fired the revolver and Buckmark Camper. I fired the Ruger SR22 and the 870.

The wife finally fired the black powder pistol. I should not have done that, I just created an addiction. Ofcourse, I will be doing the loading and she will fire it.

One of the local ranges has a Senior Friday deal. $7, all ranges access.
10, and under are free.
So it makes practice more practical for us. Grandson and I.
Walmart sells Winchester 555 bulk packages for $19.95.

Not as good as when I lived more out. But still affordable and fun.

But to answer the question: Once.
They are really, really hard to reload.

Got to be careful about how you ask a question.

when ever i feel the urge to, supposing i'm not out. back yard is plenty big enough and noise during the day is a non-issue (live off of the highway). i can go a week or more without so much as looking at my gun (which is in its case right behind me right now) and i can gain a few bucks in scrap brass in an hour (which is a lot out of an old savage break action). i usually grab a small handful and go for a walk/hike around the property every month or 2.

Do you still have the box of ammo you bought on 1986?

I was on my way home from shooting in the field for the second time this week and stopped for some fuel, ran into a friend who asked if I wanted to go to the local range some time...I asked, why not now? i have guns and ammo with me...he said he can usually go once a month or maybe ever other month due to time constraints and low ammo budget. I recommended he get into rimfire.

Where do you folks stand?

my buddies andI go shooting a couple times a week. we usually bring a few .22's and some handguns. Always end up shooting about 200 rounds each trip. Also spotlighting about 5 time s a month.

Holy Moly, Stalkingbear!
How did you move them?

I had a bunch of 9mm cast bullets a friend gave me. I think there was 1600+.
He even loaned me his Lyman swedger/luber and showed me how to.
That was back in the 80's.
