How to maintain my walnut finish?
 

Hey guys I'm back!
I've been out of the country most of the summer but I'm back now

Ok so the question i have is this...
on my Marlin 925M i have a walnut stock and the part of stock where my cheek rests is changing color. its getting lighter to be exact. I'm assuming thats not a good thing so how do i fix it? i never really did anything to maintain or clean the walnut finish

I've used some of the regular furniture oils. I'm sure one of the restorers around here can be more help, I'm just glad you are back. :D
