Default hole #&*% it's back!

my favorite gun is back in production! the savage 24 is back! it's called the 42 but i dont care, it's a 24! i found my great grandfather's 22/20 in his bedroom closet back in 2010, 5 years after he died. i have put easily over 3000 rounds through it since then. i was on there site to find a gun for someone on another forum and i saw it on the home page. i may buy one http://www.savagearms.com/firearms/model/Model42

I saw that the other day and said to myself, "you should buy that" not enough free funds now but it looks like a really cool gun

i'm guessing street price will be $300-350, about the same as a decent 24 goes for. i'm game for the .22mag/410 but if they were to come out with a 45-70/12, i'd legitimately consider selling my playstation and tv to get it. they're perfect teaching rifles because they wont break easily and since there's only 1 shot, they learn to make it count! if the 42 is half the shooter that the 24 is, it'll be plenty accurate for some squirrel hunting. 1 thing i'm hoping for is screw-in choke tubes. a fixed full choke is fine for plinking, small game and even some medium game but i dont have the guts to shoot a slug out of it.
