i'm guessing street price will be $300-350, about the same as a decent 24 goes for. i'm game for the .22mag/410 but if they were to come out with a 45-70/12, i'd legitimately consider selling my playstation and tv to get it. they're perfect teaching rifles because they wont break easily and since there's only 1 shot, they learn to make it count! if the 42 is half the shooter that the 24 is, it'll be plenty accurate for some squirrel hunting. 1 thing i'm hoping for is screw-in choke tubes. a fixed full choke is fine for plinking, small game and even some medium game but i dont have the guts to shoot a slug out of it.
