Default Higher end 22lr

If you were looking for a higher end rimfire. Not a Cooper or Weatherby XXII but a $500 to $700 rimfire. Which one would you get.

CZ 455 switch barrel

Browning T-Bolt

Ruger 77/22

Magnum Research Magnum Lite

Ruger 10/22 T SS

Consider a Thompson Center R55. I think they're an outstanding rifle and they're kind of an unknown sleeper. The only negative is that magazines are expensive.

The Double Helix magazines for the T-Bolt are expensive, too, at fifty bucks.....but man are they cool!

The only draw back to the R-55 is it has open sights and I don't like the way that looks on it. Plus I am going to be putting a scope on so I don't need them.

Get a Browning T-bolt and you'll never regret it. I used to have 1 of the old 1s and the newer 1s are just as good if not better.

Can you give me a link.

I don't see where they are still being made. If they are who is making them?

I don't think many people have been aquainted with the Magnum Research gun, as I understand, it is basically a 10/22 combined with a scope rail in a one-piece milled unit, with no way for your optics to loosen, less the mounts, of course.
