I bought a Henry 22 a couple months ago. I like it a lot. I've had no problems with it, and it shoots where I aim.

I am tossing between getting a Henry or a Marlin. I'm kicking myself for passing up on a Marlin 39a for less the $300.

I have a 39A also, but wanted something a little smaller.

Yep. Don't pass a good 39A for $300.

Not sure, it's a cool pic I found at AF.com.

Dick's has the baseline Henry lever 22 with the black receiver shroud for $279. I looked at it and was immediately impressed with the fit and feel of the rifle. It was hefty and felt like a gun not a toy, unlike say a Marlin 795. Also the furniture was very impressive for any rifle, much less one under $300. I am buying one once golf season is over to save myself the dilemma of what to do on the weekends.

They are very nice little guns. We were just out doing some plinkin, a bit windy, off the bench at a paced off 75 or so yards with Winchester bulk amo could hit a golf ball 13 out of 15 times. Sighted for 50 yards so had to aim 3/4 high and to the right for the wind. Couldn't ask for a better box rifle under $300. Really like the Henry.

That is a great deal on a Henry Rifle. At full price I have issues with the tube feed magazine but at your price I would jump on it. Several of my friends have Henry centerfire rifles, they love em. No experience with the rimfire models.

I picked up the Henry Frontier model with octagon barrel a few years ago for $315. It's really a superb rifle, amazingly good for the price. Very accurate, works flawlessly, and looks great.

I believe Henry is doing very well in the market and deservedly so. They make a great product and stand behind it.
