I finally bought a Henry lever action 22 yesterday. Took it to the range to get some trigger time and was disappointed to find that it shoots real high. I lowered the rear notch all the way down and it shoots 24" high at 50 yards. At 50 feet it is making nice groups at 4" high.

The front post does not appear to be adjustable.

I called Henry customer service today, Sunday, and a real person answered, took my info and told me I would be contacted tomorrow. It was impressive to get a live person on a Sunday. We will see what they say about the rifle tomorrow.

I am sure the customer service will be great but I am disappointed that the rifle even got out of the factory in that shape.

I had that with my Golden Boy till I discovered the little notch piece in center of the rear sight has a screw and adjusts way down. Now I have to adjust my rear sight up!
