I know it's been talked about too much & after some researching I know some good ones to stick with, but what do you all have to say about just the ones on this link?
I don't want to spend alot because I don't even hunt anymore, But I have an old rem 22 that is beat and I don't like not having a nice 22lr rifle on hand.It just feels good having one even tho I may not use it much.

That's the page I'd shop from. First page cheapest!
Skip the single shots ofcourse. I kinda like the bolt actions. I want to stay cheap but good.
I know a Ruger 10/22 is always liked so I do have that on the list. Last edited by ineedagoodername; 01-30-2012 at 10:10 AM. |

It's hard to beat a 10/22, especially when Wally World sells them for just over $200, which is what I did. __________________ Semper Fi |

I am a big fan of Marlin rimfire rifles. Their micro groove rifling is awesome. They offer great semi-auto and bolt action designs. They are tough to beat for out of the box accuracy at their price point. __________________ Winchester 100 .243; Marlin XS7 .308; Stevens 200 .223; Rossi 92 .45LC; Marlin 1894C .357M; Marlin 30AS .30-30; NEF Pardner Pump 12ga; Mossberg 500 Turkey 20ga; Winchester 1200 20ga; Savage Mark II F .22LR; Henry H001 .22LR; Marlin 60SB .22LR; Ruger 10/22 DSP .22LR; Savage 93R17 GV .17HMR; Remington Genesis .50 cal ML; Ruger Vaquero .45LC; Ruger Blackhawk .357M; Ruger SR9c 9mm; Ruger Single-Six .22LR; Browning Buck Mark Camper .22LR; Crosman Powermaster 760 .177; Crosman Storm XT .177 |

if just wanting a decent inexpensive, accurate 22lr, check out the marlins. bolt action or semi-auto. i have an older M60, that still shoots great. the marlins are one of the best bargains out there for a 22lr. many different choices. |

I have several 22lr rifles so the only one there that really interests me is the Savage FV-SR since it is set up for a suppressor. The Savage plastic rimfire stocks dont work very well with a scope as they have too much drop. Easy to pad or replace though. The Ruger stocks are not that great for scopes either. I like a solid repeatable cheek weld and my Ruger is padded. If you run into one of the CZ 452, 453 or 455 rifles, take a serious look at them. __________________ "I would not be an old man if I had not been an armed young man." JTJ
The SHTF. In September/October the fan will be turned on. |

God, I love those beat-up old Remington 5-teens. __________________ "War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. My old Remington is from sometime back in the 80's. It's a cheap plastic stock job that has had a beating sence then.I can't even remember what model it is & it's not stamped. The thing still shoots everytime but a bolt that goes thru the stock to the barrel is broke off & the brarrel rotates side to side about 1/8 inch or more.Beleive it or not it still seemed like a good shooter last time I shot it.It was only about 30yds though. |
