I like that the safety is clearly marked SAFE or FIRE and will be visible to you when the gun is on the bench at the range. It could be a helpful thing when supervising a youngster.
The last post of page 3 has the pic of the weapons we chose yesterday. I'm really happy with them and can't wait for the cooling off period to end.
As far as the safety goes, that sounds like a cool option, but since we don't have that I'll just teach her the old adage "Red, you're dead."

I remember when a woman was murdered by her ex because she could not get a gun in time to defend herself. The restraining order did not stop him. Imagine that! I wonder how many other people were murdered because they could not defend themselves?
