DefaultGot a new toy!

Today purchased a bolt action Marlin 982VS. .22WMR. It has a really neat diamond pattern synthetic stock and the larger barrel. What a sweet shooter! I looked at a lot of guns today and was caught between the Savage .17HMR and the Marlin 982VS. , but as they say "I pulled the trigger" on the Marlin.

I may add a .17HMR to the collection someday as well. A man can never have too many weapons.

That's one of the rifles on my "LIST" of things to get...

I just keep finding nifty old rifles instead of buying new ones...

This is a great shooter! Put a Simmons Scope on it. Like the gun a lot, but want to get the 7 round magazine (it comes with the 4 round).

Nice pickup! I snagged a Marlin 795 myself the other day from Gander Mountain for 70 bucks. The price is right and they shoot great. I am a Marlin fan
