Right! And it looks exactly like what I wanted in my mind's eye, if you know what I mean.

It might have taken me a couple shots but with a regular barrell and a 4×32 scope i could shoot a quarter at 100 ft with mine

Speaking of Savage .22s, what is the best model of Bipod (I'm thinking Harris).

Sling swivel mount?
Screw in?
Size?

Bad ass little mag ha ha. Now I just need to go shoot it! I picked it up today and had the gun shop put the flash hider on it just to give it that finished off look. I'm impressed, stock does feel cheap but I expected that. Bolt is smooth as butter, gun is a little heavy but I'm a big boy, I'm not worried about sissy stuff like weight it will probably help keeping it dead on accurate.
What model of Harris Bipod is that? Looks perfect for that rifle.

It's a Caldwell 6-9 inch. $59 everywhere I've looked. I also got a blackhawk swivel/pivoting bi-pod that's 9-13 inches for the same price.

This is the blackhawk bi pod. Also $59

i ordered one of these mark2 fv-sr today. picked up a simmons 22mag 3-9x scope with the objective parralex adjustment. ive been wanting a good suppressor ready bolt action 22 to go with my silencerco sparrow SS. this thread tipped me over the deciding point.
