Went to TC Outdoors in Statesboro GA and got some Remington Viper. $7.99 for a box of 100. They limit 100 rnds per customer per day. Since the wife and I were both there we got 100 each. Next trip I'll have to take my oldest so I can get another 100. Not trying to stock pile like some, but go out shooting with 5 people and ammo goes real fast. One of the reason I initially opted to get a .22 pellet rifle. Found a Savage 64f for a good price and was able to get. Preferred a Marlin 60 but the Savage works great once I get the first round to cycle, then the rest feed perfect.

i'm not sure if there is purpose to any of my threads, but that sounds like a good idea, doc!

if nothing else, a positive thread!....focused on some of us finding 22 at a decent price!!!!

if we can help each other out a bit, all the better!

got me some again!

academy had automatch 325 boxes and these cci 300 round boxes just sitting behind the counter today. decent prices at $17 for the automatch and $23 for the cci.

ONE per customer. had to go with the cci since it runs flawlessly for me.

very good to see it out, without people losing their minds over it. it sat the whole time i was there....i was SHOCKED!

I have not been out and about to either go to the range and/or shop at the specific times when ammo comes shipped in.

I did pickup some .38 Special (Federal) and .45 ACP (HSM) for before panic times!

well, i got burned on the last panic, had to "shut down" and not shoot for about 6 months this last time.

i'm trying to keep a healthy stash....not crazy amounts, just enough for 4-5 of my next range trips in each caliber. so hopefully, in bare shelf times, i can still visit the range now & then.

22 has been the hardest. i'm also collecting a wee bit for a friend who wants to buy a 22 rifle, but can't find any ammo in his area.

Paid $25 for the CCI 300 pack.
Tolerable, esp considering I proly won't burn 100 of them by end of the yr

I'd love to find a box of those. I have 3-100's I've kept for 2-1/2 years!!
Auto match is now available through my Pawn & Gun guy. I'm paying about $20 for the Auto-Match. Big 5 is stocking Win super X in the 222 and 555 Boxes, and Remington GB's in the 225 box. Thing is, this is the first year I'm shooting Rimfire Steel matches. Thx Gd when you enter a match, your fee pays for your Ammo for the match. So now our ammo is ours to practice with. I was down under 2500 until I started finding and buying locally again. Back up to about 4200 now on 22LR. Been shooting a lot of 9 lately to train up some folks. Next 2 purchases as well as the last one will be 9MM Ammo. Dipped below 2K on the last shoot session.

Also need to get some 9X18 for one of our guys with 2 Mak's...
