Default Is this a good trade?

My dads going to see if we can meet a guy this weekend that has an m&p after he buys his handgun. We(the guy with the m&p and I worked out a deal) He wants 275$ and two air rifles I have. One is worth around 90$ and the other is worth around 150, Is this a good trade? The 15-22 is in good condition.

there's want, desire, and need.

if it works for you go for it.
I would have kept the lesser of the air rifles. but I still like shooting them from time to time. and of course you may have another air rifle that you didn't mention

Depends on which 15-22 we are talking about. The basic model can be had for about $420 new, the magpul one is about $550-$575 depending on location. I have a couple air rifles as well, that I used for the purpose I bought them for and now they sit idly by doing nothing and I always shoot my .22's. If you're gonna use it, then it's a roughly fair deal if it isn't worn out.

I would do the less expensive air rifle and $275. You have to remember all items are used. But to each is his own and if you want it and no longer use the air rifles then your call.

I just bought a brand new m&p 15-22 for $430 + tax brad new, so it was like $460ish. I think you'd be better off selling your air rifles and just buying one new. I wouldn't trade both plus the money for a used rifle, but that's just me

On second thought, how much ammo does he have to throw in with it? That's the real question. If its enough to save you ten early mornin Walmart runs to attempt to get ammo then it would be worth it

That's kind of pushing it. How much does a new 15-22 go for in your neck of the woods?

Well last time I went to cabellas before the obama stuff started and the panic buying I saw one going for 600 and I think they were 450 at gat guns. But, the deal fell through. Its a 3 hour drive and he refused to meet us halfway. Arent they sold out everywhere?

I did email another guy and he has a remington 597 with 6 magazines, a scope, and 300 rounds of .22lr for only 250.
I plan on checking out sunday.
