What do you really mean by good? There's Bushnell Banner 4-16x40A/O with I/R for around $100, Center Point Adventurer 4-16X40A/O for around $70, Simmons 44MAG 4-12X44S/F for $125, Redfield Revolution 4-12X40 for $200, BSA Sweet 17(or 22?) 3-12X40A/O for $100, Burris FullfieldII 4-12X40 for $250, Leupold Rifleman 4-12X40 for $260(?), and lots more for more or less.
I have thest scopes:
Bushnell Banner 4-16x40A/O with I/R---clear glass, accurate A/O, audible accurate turret clicks. Mounted on Savage Axis 22LR.
BSA Sweet 17 3-12x40A/O----not on rifle as of yet, gonna get a HMR 17.
Simmons 44MAG 4-12x44S/F----exceptional glass, accurate A/O, great scope(surprisingly)----mounted on Ruger 77/22 22magnum.
I also have a Burris FullfieldII and a Redfield Revolution, Weaver Classic, Nikon Buckmaster scopes but in different magnifications mounted on centerfires, and they have superior glass, but also at a higher costs.

What are you going to shoot with it? Day or night? I have the Nikon Prostaff 3 x 9 x 40 on my Ruger 10/22. It lets lots of light in at night for shooting raccoons and a few hogs at 50-75 yards. It wont break the bank at $169.00 I really like it.
