good scope for 10/22
I wear reading glasses, but not when I shoot. At 47, my rear sights are getting a bit blurry. What's a good, inexpensive (no more than $75) adjustable scope for my 10/22?

+1. Very decent scopes for the $$, and is what I use on one of my 10-22 rifles. The other 10-22 has had a Tasco on it for some yrs now, and is still gettin it done, but I prefer the Simmons a little bit more when it comes to clarity, especially in low light conditions.

Be careful. When you buy a cheap scope, you get a cheap scope. Leupold has a variety of scopes that would work well on your 10/22. Yes, they cost a bit more than $75.00, but you get what you pay for. All Leupold scopes have a no-questions-asked, lifetime warranty.

(Full disclosure, I get a monthly retirement check from Leupold so I am most definately biased. )

I use a Simmons 3x9 scope which has worked very well on my 1022. For the price I think the Simmons has more clarity.
