They're usually around $100-$125 in my neck of the woods. They vary from area to area and their condition can mean a lot. And the Glenfields are generally not as expensive as the regular Marlin 60 because it was considered a budget version of the Marlin 60. That doesn't make them a bad rifle. It usually makes them a good deal actually. BTW does it have the last shot hold open feature where the bolt stays open after the last shot is fired? If so those models are worth more. No matter how you look at it you got a good deal though. You could part out the rifle if there was a problem with it of some kind and you would get you money back. But most likely it will serve you well for years to come and you won't want to sell it for any reason. The main reason they are cheaper is because there are millions of them around. Supply and demand and all that. But they are great guns.

Post up some pics when you get a chance, we LOVE Gun Pron!! :D

And there's tons of info on re-furbishing Marlin 60's at RFC & Marlin Owners as well...
you'll probably need a J&P Springs kit & a new Black Buffer (white one tends to get hard & fall apart...)
that's the least I do to Any used springs & buffer mean reliability!!

It being a Glenfield means its Pre-LSHO, also means Old-Style Marlin 60 where parts suppliers are interested (Numrich in particular)...
