Default Finally bought my first gun!

After lots of internet browsing, magazine reading and asking a few questions here I went out today and bought my very first gun!

She's a Savage 93R17 BVSS .17HMR Grey Laminate stock with stainless steel barrel. Also picked up a 3-9x40 scope and suitable rings, a sturdy case to protect her and a couple of boxes of ammo to break her in at the local range, when the weather warms up enough to venture outside.

BIG thanks to everyone who helped answer my questions earlier on, right now I'm a very happy camper. I'll let you all know how her and I get along and post a range report when I get some firing time in.

Get her dirty, then clean her so she starts to respect you. When her trust is complete, she will serve you well for a lifetime!

Nice looking set up. We will be expecting a range report when you get her on the range.

If you wait more than 3 or 4 days you have way more will power than I do. Hell When i got my 700 vls i was out in snow ad temps in the teens to shoot it.

Very nice looking, gotta let me know how the savage trigger is! I've been curious about the 17HMR for a while now. With that thick barrell I'll bet she's gonna be a tack driver. Can't wait to see the report.
