Default Is it difficult to put a new stock on a 22.magnum?

Its an older marlin stainless barrel and synthetic stock. Im curious cause even though the gun shoots great the stock just feels wierd.

I wouldn't think it would be much of a job. However, a new stock
might cost more than the rifle is worth.

Again, what model.

I have been looking here, http://www.boydsgunstocks.com/ For a stock for my 10-22. Most of them are around $100 but a stock can go up to several hundred depending on what you want.

100$ huh. I will just keep the stock on it for that price. The gun still shoots great so it doesnt matter much. Thank you all for the info
