Default copper case 22lr?

I was going through some of my moms stuff and came across a box of .22 ammo, it appears to be a copper case which I thought was odd, anyone have any info about it? It has a diamond shape on the bottom. It was in a 100 rnd pack with 2 other types so I am not sure if it is the original box.

Without pictures it is hard to guess what you have. I have been a collector for years and it sounds like 1930'S Winchester ammo. Most all 22's before the mid 30's were copper cased. Please dont shoot this stuff and trade it to a collector. All old ammo has at least replacement value.
