CCI mini mag

Is there any difference between a standard .22lr and a .22 CCI mini mag? And can you shoot the mini mags through any .22lr rifle

Its just a higher velocity 22lr. Its perfe tly safe in your 22lr rifle

.22 CCI mini mags are the same velocity as other "high velocity" 22 LR. 22 loads are basically standard, high, or hyper velocity. Most 22's will shoot all three, though some auto's don't like the standard velocity ones.

If I had my choice I'd never shoot anything but CCI Mini Mags. They are my favorite.

I agree. I have over 3,000rds of 36 and 40gr mini mags. I also like Federal 510 and American Eagle 5022. They seem to be the same bullet but Im not sure. I have several .22 rifles and they all shoot either mini mag or the federal or both very well. I have at least 2 bricks of both on hand as well. I can honestly say I have never had a mini mag failure to fire.

As others have said, it's just another .22 LR and will fire in anything rated for that caliber.

Since I've started tracking all of my ammunition usage, I will say that Mini-Mags are problem free and one of the few .22's that has been. They're really best in semi-auto pistols since they tend to have the most problems cycling ammunition.

My only gripe is that they are pricey as .22 ammo goes, but still not bad. If you're doing any serious shooting, like hunting, you may as well pay the extra money. A box of 100 pre-panic was still cheaper than a box of 50 anything in a higher caliber.

Check this out it's pretty interesting and I saw some CCI rounds I'd never seen before.

Brand wise, what is more important to me is that, if i mix/change brands they all shoot to the same poi. So far i've got 3 brands that do.

And CCI 22 Blazers are basically the same as CCI Mini Mag only lead instead of copper coated. Great deal if you can ever find them now!
