Default Browning Buck Mark RIFLE? Good?

I just bought a Buck Mark UDX pistol. It came in a set with a great zippered case, 3 mags, and the upgraded grips for only $20 more than the standard camper. I haven't shot it yet, by my range bag is packed for tomorrow evening.

I'd like a .22 rifle, too, and noticed that Browning makes a Buck Mark rifle. It is basically a Buckmark pistol with an attached stock and a longer barrel. I could use my same magazines with it. They cost about $550, for which I could buy 3 Ruger 10/22's.

I'm really excited by its looks and similar functionality to the pistol I already own, but is the higher price worth it?

Go anywhere and ask em if you should get a 10/22 and they'd say of course..

It's been the gold standard for years now...HOWEVER...I like the feel of the buckmark...nice and small, lightweight..just feels good...I don't know how to explain it otherwise.

Hey Chris,I've had a Browning Buckmark "Sporter" rifle for several years. It is a great little rifle, very lite, great ergonomics, pretty accurate, and a complete blast to shoot.
They are very expensive, but just about anything with Browning on it is.

If you want a lite weight rifle, get the sporter. If you want a little better accuracy, get the target version with the bull barrel.
They also made the target version with a carbon fiber barrel a few years ago,it is a bull barrel, that weighed less than the sporter.

Mine will eat just about any ammo, and rarely ever has any problems feeding,or jamming.

Anything Browning is terrific in my book....I have three rimfires and love each of them....but not the particular one you're looking at.

But it will always be a Browning!

I'm thinking that my 4 Buck Mark magazines already puts the Sporter ahead in my book.

I can't wait to shoot the pistol tomorrow! I'm shooting Federal GameShok 40 gr High Velocity copper plated solid.
