the great exception i can tell you about is the CZ 452; they make several models of the 452 but they all shoot straight. they are almost the only new rimfire that can stand with the older Brno's. When they first came out a few years ago they were $169 at Turner's; wish to He.. i had bought 20 of them as the price has almost doubled and without the stampings you would have a VERY hard time telling them from the Brno's. As you probably know Brno became CZ some years ago.
Amen to that, my FIL has a .17HMR 452 Varmint Nickel and it is shoots straight as an arrow. BRNO rimfires have an enviable reputation down here in Aus and there would not be many farm houses that don't have a BRNO .22 hidden around somewhere. I dropped this fox at about 125yrds with the CZ under lights, I think the accuracy is obvious.
