Blackhack! you did good. I bought a MKIIg last April and currently have a BSA Sweet22 6x20 or whatever it is... It will shoot 1/2 inch at 50 yards. Fed Auto Match is very good, as is Fed 510b or the CCi mini-mags. Keep you action screws torqued fairly light 16 in lb.s or so, experiment up or down a little, but don't pull them to tight - not over 20 or you will compress the screws into the wood. I put thin flat washers under my screw heads just to spread the pressure out a bit. I have not had to do much of anything to the trigger. I checked to see if it was at its lowest setting and I am pleased with the let off. I also free floated the barrel. I believe you will find a pad near the end of the forearm. Try it both ways and see which way makes your rifle happier. Have fun, keep us posted and get some pics up.
