Those were originally "Shooter's Ridge" brand...Winnie took over a buncha stuff lately.

I spent about $20 for this clamp-on:

Amazon.com: UTG Tactical Low-profile Universal Foldable Clamp-on Bipod: Sports & Outdoors

Obviously concerns have been mentioned about hanging a bipod off the barrel. Tango may have a valid point there, I honestly don't know. I don't use it for anything but my 10/22, and it's served it's purpose there. Good bipod for $20-25. Whether you want a clamp-on or not is up to you to decide.

Here's my 10/22 with one of those Walmart special Shooter's Ridge / Winchester brand bipods on it. It's a pretty good copy of a Harris that works fine on a .22 rifle.

They are about $35 at Walmart.

ETA: You will need to get a front sling swivel stud on your gun though to mount it. Forget mounting anything on your barrel.

Default Bipod

This is one of the best you will ever get. I allows swivel & cant & adjustment knobs for setting how fast the swivel & cant will move.

Damn 38super, that's just a tad bit of overkill for a 10/22 don't ya' think? That thing probably costs more than the 10/22 did. My $35 Walmart special is plenty sturdy enough to handle service on my 10/22.

This is a picture of an all steel UTG bipod that's a rail mount type and it was only $30. It swivels as well (pans left & right). I know it would also do fine and be plenty sturdy enough on a 10/22. BTW, it also comes with a swivel stud adapter included with the price.
