I found an abused Chipmunk .22 rf rifle and restored it. Tried it out (head sideways due to little peep and stock dims) and it LOVED CCI minimags.
So I took it hunting chucks one day. Big one stands along fence line, 50 yards. Pow and down it goes. Shot right in the neck, next to skull...........dead right next to the hole. I was pretty darn pleased with that and I hoisted my prize for further admiring........and up pops another, big mo fo too............and about 50 yards farther down. Drop the one and POP! Disappeared.
Go up and he's dead by the hole, same hit location....fell and laid right where he was standing.
Now I've killed hundreds of chucks and normally run a .243..........and I know by the hole even blown in half they can get down it. But two decent ones (14+ lb) with a kid's .22rf with 2 shots?
That was a sweet fall day for sure!
