Default Best .22 Mag Rifle Under $350?

Been looking at getting a fun bolt action plinker and the Savage 93F had caught my eye. I've located the rifle for $289 (no optics) at a local gun shop. Are there any other similarly priced .22 mag rifles that anyone would recommend?

Thanks!

In general I prefer Savage for bolt action rifles. IMHO, they have the best factory trigger. Go Henry if you want a lever. I don't have a suggestion if want a semi.

Marlin makes a few 22 mags in that price range. They are usually quite accurate and the triggers are supposed to be very good now. You would also get the choice of a box mag or a tube mag. I personally an trying to scavenge some extra funds together to pick up an XT22

I have a Marlin XT 22MR. I bought it new from Gander Mountain. The first remlin I got shot so high I would have had to do some grinding on the rear sight to make it work. Remlin sent a shipping label. In a few weeks I had a shiny new remilin on the front porch. This one shoots very well. I have a good time chasing golf balls across the field. The second Remlin I got is a good shooter. If you can see the golf ball you can hit it. If you fail to hit the golf ball it's your fault. The only thing I have killed with it is a coyote. The 22 wmr is a proven coyote zapper and no one gets upset if you shoot it within a couple miles of their cattle.

Thanks for all the feedback! Been looking into the Marlin XT-22 more and it looks like a great rifle. Going into the shop today... Wish me luck! Haha. I'll keep you all posted.

Alright! Picked up the Marlin XT-22 (Mag) w/ Tube Load! Very excited to shoot this thing!... Too bad I work a crap-load for the next couple'a weeks

Any recommendations for a bipod? The usual wont work on this due to the molded sling mounts.
