The barrel band actually makes the swivel stud a little easier, no wood-work involved.

The bull barrel won't fit in the factory stock with the barrel band. You'd have to chuck the barrel band and hog out the barrel channel on the factory stock for the bull barrel to fit. That's why I suggested the Hogue stock.

ya i mite try and bull about the stock to fit and thanks for telling me how long you've been shooting i thought you had been for a while because at 75 yards 10 shots in a dime size hole that's good for a snipper

o ya and i have asked this already but you must have over looked alot of people say on the reviews on the stock that it's flimsy and that the groups move depending on where you have the rest it's so flimsy have you ever had that problem

It is pretty flexible. I just built it the other day & haven't had a chance to try it out much yet. The barrel is not free floated on it however. I'll let you know in the form of a range report when I get to go shooting it again.

thanks man like i said i am looking at a thumb hole stock because my brother has one on his 17 and i really like the feel of it and i can hold a thumb hole stock alot steadier free hand but it's like a 145$ on say so idk
