I have the SW MP12/22 and the Colt M4/22, both are great shooter, the Colt is a bit ammo sensitive. My brother bought a Mossberg tactical, I laughed until we started shooting it...out of the box, it is more accurate than the Colt, less ammo sensitive, and easier to grab-shoulder-shoot.
It is on par with the SW as far as build and weight, but cost nearly half.
I recommend all three, but if money is ANY concern, buy the Mossy.


I also have a couple GSG-5s and fully recommend these for fun, accurate plinking.

My favorite of all of the AR 22s is the S&W. The are not overly expensive and man they are very accurate and do they shoot! And they are designed almost exactly the same as their big brother the full size AR!
