To OP: Just wondering why you would spring for the ammo every time? In our group the rule is; You can shoot anything you want, but you have to bring the ammo you want to shoot. This includes 22's.

If you want to go really cheap try the Savage MKII bolt action rifle.Comes with a funny 10 round banana clip,but you can buy a more flush 5 round clip for 15 bucks.About $130 new.

More flush? Maybe smaller, but not remotely flush. I got a MkII. I shot a 1.5" group with CCI Velocitor at 100 yards off my 'pod & towel with it. It was not expensive, but it cost more than $130. They start at about $200.
