Default anschutz trigger adjustment

Hi Folks,

I have a Savage/ Anschutz Model 184 Sporter ( circa 1972 ) and was wondering if anyone knows the proper way to adjust the trigger pull on this rifle?

Thanks,

dwl56

Seen some info that side it would adjust like a model 64 match triggerr.
See it your looks like this one.-http://www.pilkguns.com/tenp/anschutztriggeradj.htm

You might go to rimfirecentral and see if the guys at the anny section can help.
Guess I can't help

I have two 64 actions and trigger adjustment is fairly simple weight is done through the trigger guard and over travel is done by taking the action out of the stock and there is a screw in the trigger housing when i did mine I backed the overtravel screw out and adjusted the weight screw to what i wanted then set the overtravel then test it at the range if you do it back wards you can have a slam fire that trigger i think goes down to 2.5 lbs good luck

Default Anschutz trigger

Thanks for the description, but I need to know what part of the screw is what, because there is an outer ring around the screw and I am not sure which is the over travel and which is the adjustment and which way do I turn them to lower my poundage.
