I'd be happy if they were back to 2010 Prices John!! I'm finally seeing some Ammo Prices down to where they were when I first got To Az. When 9mm is $10 a Box I'll be happy...& 22's are still not close to being what they were cost wise 18-24 Months ago..

I remember last year when I bought my AR I bought a 500 round box of federal 5.56 for $170. I have yet to see anything even close to that since the great ammo panic of 2013 Was this a great price or has ammo really just not gotten back to normal???

I have 2 buckets of 1400/each of .22lr on order from Code3Tactical and has been for over a month. I will leave it on order waiting to be filled. If I for any reason want to get up early a few days I will try Walmart for their qtys of 325/333/500/525/555 - whatever they may have. Will also attend a few shows.

Our Grandsons (22 & 20) are coming to visit from Dallas/Little Elm Tx April 2014 and I know they will want to go shooting. I dont think either one has ever fired a gun. We have less than 100 rounds left of 22 LR.

As soon as (if ever) the order is filled, I will place another immediately. Price is right. $65.00/1400 bucket. Even with shipping added - it's still good.

MCarter788,
I'm not holding my breath on this one.

Quote:
Technical Information
Caliber: 22 Long Rifle
Bullet Weight: 36 Grains
Bullet Style: Lead Hollow Point <<< this may work against fulfilling the order too.
But Code3 seems most upfront and honest about their back orders.

Off topic.
We lived in Carrollton, Tx (about 20 miles N of Dallas) for 5 years across from the Trinity Med Center. Enjoyed several Dallas / Phila Eagles games on Thanksgiving Day. GE sales office had 4 season seats with a parking voucher and almost every year my manager asked if I wanted to take the family. No one else wanted them and he didn't want them to go to waste.

That's Crazy! Even my local GS's when they have it,..don't charge less then $140. Something doesn't sound "Kosher" about that price...but I hope you get your ammo. We're sticking to Bricks & 50/100 packs...
Now if someone wants to "go in" with me on a 10 pack skid of 325 rd. Federal Auto Match(3250rds.) for 479.95 I'm there!
