I'm going toi check it out at least once(Dick's)...

Only shot 100 Rds. of the Thunderbolts yesterday(and about 20 Winchester Super X & one 25 rd. & one 10Rd. Mag of Federal Auto Match Through the 702...Pleasantly surprised that we had no duds...
Next Trip we get the TruGlo 2X42 Red Dot Sight Mounted on the 702,....

One of the Ammoseek vendors has a 10 Brick Pack of the Auto Match(3250 rds.) for $479.99...As crazy as it sounds,..if i could get folks to go in with me I'd get it!
Also shot 250 Rds. of 9mm Yesterday...mostly SD rounds, but some Winchester White Box & some of the Black Hills 9mm as well..
Also got 2 boxes of the Black Hills 357 for the Wife,..and 2 Boxes of Golden Sabers for her,..one 38+P & one 357..
we're both pretty well stocked now, except for 32ACP & 380...Even 45ACP & 45LC, which we shoot sparingly at best,..we have decent amounts....

I was just at a gun show in York, PA today, plenty of ammo, a little pricey but mostly not at astronomical prices, AK's starting upper $600's, AR's starting in the 7's, Mosin's starting @ $165.00, just about anything you want and within better than I've seen prices in about a year.

Plenty of 9mm, .40 S&W, .45 acp., .223, 5.56 nato and 7.63X39, available but not cheap. there wasn't much .22lr. but it was there and pricey.

I went(we did) over to the "Gun & Knife collectors" show down in Camp Verde this morning, (about 20+ minutes from where we live). Made some nice contacts for trades, saw some stuff, mostly overpriced but not outrageously so, plenty of Ammo including 22's in bricks,..none cheaper then $26 bucks( I bought 2- the win 333 was 25.99 & the CCI Mini Mag was 49.95 for 5 100's) saw my new friend the Native American, hooked up with him for three new blades to come soon,...had lunch and came home for College Football...

Walmart here is overstocked with .223 ammo. I don't need any 223 ammo. I haven't shot all the ammo I got when I bought my AR 15 four years ago. I predict that ammo will be back to 2007 prices by this time next year.

I only reach for the .22LR; but, the past Wednesday was a first entering the store and they had a lot of bricks; but, purchase 1 at a time.

Most of the money for ammo is at Sportsman's Warehouse only, except, .22LR ammo!

I am not going to give into the price gougers and pay twice or three times the amount for 500 rounds of brick .22LR ammo.

This is what we are dealing here in New Mexico, ammo does not stay on shelves long, especially the common ammo used at the range.

Example of price gouging below:

Check this price on local website:

1 brick for $50 or 2 $90

Quote:
22lr for sale. Only 2 bricks left! $50.00
caliber: 22
Seller has indicated this is a private sale.
22lr for sale, only 2 bricks left! $50 per brick or both for $90.
