What's going on with the lack of decent ammo? I went to my favorite gun shop tonight and they had not CCI mini mags.I just went through all the online sites and they are all out of stock. Any suggestions on a good substitute.

I don't know where you are located but I can buy cases of CCI within 15 miles in several directions. If you are just looking for plinking ammo the Federal bricks and Winchester bricks work well for me.

Dunno, I mostly use those Federal bulk packs. My 22's shoot that as well as the more pricey stuff. Figure if I can hit a 12 ga. hull at 75 yards it's good enough

It really wouldn't surprise me any if ammo was getting bought up at alarming rates again though. All the news about the feds buying up this and that has had a lot of people running out to stock up.

I went to my ammo supplier and he was out of TulAmmo, .45 FMJ, so I placed an order for two bricks. A week had passed, my supplier called me and said it would be an additional two weeks before the shipment arrived.

I went to Walmart and got a brick to hold me over. When I pick up the two bricks from my supplier, I am placing an order for another two. Things are changing, and being caught short is not good.

I to can go to to local shops and buy 3000 rounds of mini mags that are in stock.

Ask your local to order you some.

Luck luckgunner and georgia arms has plenty if you will order.

Got to remember lots of guys are now shooting rimfire because is so cheap to shoot. This is in the NC mountains.
