If he has the same thought pattern as me, he's realized that Hornady doesn't make their Zombie Max ammunition in .22LR, so to give his kid a chance at fending off the hoards of zombie prairie dogs, squirrels and rabbits, he put the bayonet on.

Haha

If your gona put all that stuff on it just get a colt m4 thats chambered for a 22lr. Then if you ever want to change it to a larger caliber you just have to get the upper half.

Yeah my neighbor has one he got at cabelas I'm not sure what he paid for it I think it was around 600 but I'm not sure. I've gone to a few gun shows with booths that sell like the front 2/3 of the gun and I think you can just switch em out. I'm not positive but thats how he told me works. If you did it that way you would end up with one gun and 2 barrels and that only cost ya alittle more then it would have if you got one already chambered for the 5.56. According to him you can find them chambered for a few different rounds. I personally havent looked that much into it cuz I don't like the way shoulders and it feels weird to shoot. But I'm a lefty and used to hunting rifles. He uses his for squirrels and it is a honest colt m4 . The looks people give us when they see it and we're out hunting are priceless. Most don't believe it's a 22

I just think if your gona get a 22 and cover it in garf so it looks like something it's not just get one of thoes. By time it's all said and done I bet you woulda spent around the same amount. It shoots as fast as you can pull the trigger and it reloads faster then anything I've seen. He's told me it will reload faster but he dosent need it that fast. Lol I think it's between 3/4 and 2/3 full speed

I just bought my Ruger 10/22 for $229.00. Spent an extra $50 on a scope.
