DefaultAffordable .22?

Can anyone suggest an affordable (something that is going to give as much performance as I did cash) .22? Any suggestion is open, not just bolt-gun.

When it comes to .22's I like Marlin rifles and Ruger handguns.

I have a Marlin model 80 that’s 37 years old and still shoots like new. It’s the 1870-1970 Anniversary Model. My son shoots it every time we go to the range, it doesn’t just sit in a closet.

10/22's are a lot of fun with endless choices of aftermarket accessories.

DefaultFor sheer fun, you can't beat Henry lever .22's!

Relatively good price, lever action .22 LR Henry rifles are plain, old fashioned fun! They are pretty much immune to some stupid gun laws, have high cap tubular magazines and are dependable. All for about the price of a Ruger 10/22 ( depending on your location).

A CZ452 or pretty much anything by Anschutz.
I also like the Henry pump rifles for all the reasons Allmons likes the levers.

Another +1 for Marlin's .22 selection. My personal favorite manufacture.

I don't think you can go wrong with a ruger 10/22. They are under $200 and you can upgrade them beyond belief as your wallet permits.

Do you own one? Would love to see a picture of some modified 10/22 Rugers.

I own 2 10/22's and plan on a few more since all ammo is going up and .22 is still cheap to shoot. I do not have pics to post. Sorry.
