Default .920 Bull Barrel for Ruger 22 Charger

I have a Ruger 22 Charger that I bought used. The barrel of my gun was cut to 8" by the previous owner, not sure why. I want to put back the original 10" factory barrel but mostly is out of stock in the places that I found it.

For about 20 more bucks than the factory original I can get an E. Shaw (or something like that) 10.5" barrel. The thing is that for the same amount of money I can get either the original size or a .920 barrel.

My question is, what difference it will make for my gun if I use the .920 instead of the original size/diameter barrel?

I understand that the barrel is heavier but not sure if all in all is going to be better or worst than the original, or if is going to make any difference at all.

Thanks in advance for your opinion.

No should not change anything but weight. Any aftermarket barrel should make it more accurate.

Agree shouldnt change anything but might want to look into a green mountain barrel real accurate and cost less than a shaw barrel imo.
